Upcoming ‘Rockers on Broadway’ Includes Current & Former Jersey Boys Cast Members!
October 4th, 2009“Rockers On Broadway – Celebrating the 60’s” is a benefit concert to be held at BB King’s Blues Club & Grill on November 2nd, 2009 at 8pm! The lineup of stars includes current and former JERSEY BOYS stars, including Donnie Kehr, Sara Schmidt, J. Robert Spencer, and John Lloyd Young!
Other artists already slated to perform are 60’s icons Lesley Gore, Micky Dolenz, Lou Christie, and a rare appearance by Gene Cornish of The Rascals, as well as Broadway stars Will Chase, Chad Kimball, Alice Ripley, and cast members from HAIR!
This year’s “Rockers” will be hosted by legendary DJ and Sirius radio star, “Cousin Brucie†Morrow. Proceeds from the charity concert will go to the Broadway Dreams Foundation, which specializes in arts education; to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, and to several other arts-related charities.

Such a creative website they have this year! A great line-up as well.
Having attended a couple years now, Micky Dolenz has become one of my favorites in addition to, of course, all the JB folks – past and present.
(I trust JLY has a good frequent flier plan. The more frequent east coast performances, the better!)
