Christopher Kale Jones & Jenna Coker-Jones’ New Line of Vintage-Inspired Accessories Now Live and On Sale!

April 24th, 2009

By Howard Tucker, Jersey Boys Special Correspondent

What have Chris and Jenna been up to these days? In addition to expanding their cabaret and theatre careers, they have launched a fantastic line of vintage-inspired accessories. Please check them out at www.moxiecouturenyc.com.

Excerpt from Moxie website:

The moxie couture vision is to recall and awaken a time when every lady wore something alluring and different for every occasion, and the men on their arms were the men of their dreams. Looking good was not an option, it was a way of life. Each individual’s personality was distinct and vibrant and present in their fashion, and the community was more vibrant because each person in it shined their particular light.

What began as headpieces has already extended into other areas, all with an eye toward granting men and women an avenue for unique expression. Mox.ie cou.ture nyc embraces the edgy rockstar within, while suggesting the unique glamour of Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner. Additionally, each and every mox.ie cou.ture nyc piece is lovingly hand-made, ensuring that although the piece may follow a pattern, it is unique.

All you need to do is look around to see how different everyone is. The age of sameness is over.

You are different! Embrace it! Shine your light!

The accessories vary from the higher-end “Luxe” collection, to their “Gent” line which accentuates the “studly gents’” suit lapels or adds some color to fedora hat bands (hats not sold by MC).

After only a week, some accessories have sold out!.

Chris and Jenna’s biggest customer so far is Whoppi Goldberg (yes, that Whoppi Goldberg). You should spot some of Jenna’s designs on “The View” in the future, and maybe Jenna!

Moxie Couture will be featured on the season finale of “Ugly Betty,” worn by Becki Newton, (“Amanda”). And finally, Moxie Couture will be seen in the cutting edge “The Fashion Mannuscript” (www.mannpublications.com).

This beautiful couple even models some of the items on their site. What wonderful dual career paths for these two.

  1. Wow..this stuff is great. Jenna, you’ve already sold out on some of the things I want to buy. I just can’t believe the reasonableness of your prices, and I predict you’ll be cornering the market soon! Please be well-stocked for Christmas.

Waiting for the next catalog with the ladies of the View all decked out: Barbara, Elisabeth, Joy, Sherri, and of course Whoopi! And Whoopi certainly shows us that your collection is well-suited to the seniors among us.

  2. I just wanted to thank all the members of the blog for their wonderful support over the years. Jenna and I are still performing (and should be able to announce the finalization of a deal soon on our websites!) but this year has provided the opportunity to share a different kind of creativity with these pieces.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! And I hope to see you from on stage very soon, if not as Frankie, then as someone new! Cheers,

  3. Chris and Jenna,

What a magnificent website. I love the beautiful accessories. You will be seeing an order from me soon.

I am so appreciative of how kind you were to my friends and me in Tampa, Chris. My grandaughter is still talking about how wonderful you and the rest of the cast were to her and the rest of us.

May Jenna and you have every success and in your new venture, and remember that “none of this could have happened without you!”

All the best. Hope to see you soon.
