  2. What did they play? Was it from the cast recording or the tour?

  3. What a joy to hear these longer, in-depth interviews, like Peter Gregus’ posted last week and Elice’s & Brickman’s a couple weeks ago. Such a contrast to the short, repetitive pieces on TV and in the newspapers. Christopher and Erich were particularly smooth in the live setting. Thoroughly enjoyable!

For those of us who have seen the show many times, clips from the CD are as much visual as auditory. Those images are an enjoyable ‘tape’ in our memory bank.

  5. Mike- It’s still accessible on the site and will be for a while. Follow the link to the station’s website, click on audio archives in the left margin. Then click the word ‘Shows’ at the top of the chart (with the blue, up/down triangles). Find ‘Arts in Review’. Go to ‘July 5′;(choose play or download).
    Enjoy…

  8. they played two of my personal favorites during the course of the interview: “My Eyes Adored You” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.” He played both of the songs all the way through. They were fresh off the soundtrack so it was JLY not CKJ, lol. oh the irony…

  9. There is always still a lot to learn about the 4 Seasons from each of these interviews; I never knew about the group in England pretending to be the 4 Seasons.

I did have a sense that the interviewer may not have seen “Jersey Boys” and may not have even been that familiar with the evolution of Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons–for instance, he identified “My Eyes Adored You” as one of Frankie’s “earlier hits.” But Chris and Erich rescued him beautifully by picking up and expanding on their answers. Your personalities and humor came through guys—job well done.

  10. I swear, all of these Jersey Boys (and girls) are class acts. They are so talented and so humble it’s a joy to listen to their interviews as well as watch them perform. I wish them many years of success.
