Jersey Boys Rocks Cleveland On Its Return!

May 12th, 2014

Cleveland loves JERSEY BOYS! Check out sneak peeks to rave reviews below:

Bob Abelman, ClevelandJewishNews.com: The show’s production values also play with the audience’s emotions, from the get-go. Upon entering the State Theatre, an open stage reveals nothing but a two-story track of scaffolding. When the house lights fade, this barren stage explodes with non-stop action. Set pieces fly on and off the stage, controlled by stealth technology. Top-shelf lighting, sound, costuming and large screen projections make for a technically seamless production.

While Valli has no doubt lost a few notes at the high end of the scale, this production of “Jersey Boys” is still engaging, entertaining and young as it was in 2011, 2008 and 2006.

Mark Horning, Examiner.com: This is the show that probably every subscription holder for the KeyBank Broadway Series has been waiting for and will not be disappointed by in any way. High energy, great songs, a good story and well timed comedy combined with compelling drama makes this a must see conclusion to the season. This is blue collar music that we all grew up with and you will find yourself fighting the urge to sing along.
