Ryan Molloy, Original West End JERSEY BOYS Star to Join Broadway Company for Limited Run, Beginning July 29!

The producers of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical Jersey Boys are pleased to announce that Olivier Award nominee Ryan Molloy, who won critical acclaim for originating the role of Frankie Valli in the London production, will join the Broadway company for a limited engagement, Tuesday, July 29 through Sunday, October 19.

RYAN MOLLOY will make his Broadway debut in Jersey Boys having originated this role in the London cast, earning an Olivier Award nomination and the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Actor in a Musical. He is currently appearing in a limited run of Fings Ain’t Wot They Used T’Be at Theatre Royal Stratford East. His theatre credits include The Pickled Cerebrum (Playhouse, LA); Macbeth (Workhouse, London); Betrayal and The Merchant of Venice (Workhouse, London). His musical credits include Taboo (The Venue, London), the NT production of Jerry Springer: The Opera (Cambridge Theatre), Tonight’s the Night (UK tour), On the Town (ENO, London Coliseum), The Blues Brothers Unlimited, Eurobeat (Edinburgh Fringe), Godspell (UK tour).   1. Congrats to Ryan! Saw him in JB in London in May 2008. I love that he has the chance to experience Broadway. I hope the US fans give him the accolades he deserves.
