Throwback Thursday: ‘And That Reminds Me’ by The 4 Seasons 45 RPM Picture Sleeve, 1969 #tbt
October 2nd, 2014Let’s go back to 1969, for The 4 Seasons’ rendition of “And That Reminds Me”! This song was recorded by many artists, including Della Reese and The Honey Dreamers in 1957. The Four Seasons version peaked at #45 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Interesting that song was recorded on the Crewe Records label, isn’t it?
Now, let’s talk about the fashions! For you guys who had the opportunity to see The Four Seasons perform back in the late ’60s, was did they wear these types of “mod” fashions on stage? By the time I saw the group perform live in the mid-70s, they were wearing white bell bottom trousers & matching white shirts decorated with a stripes and big dove!
Love the song, should have charted higher ! I have seen the full length photo showing the slacks. It will blow your mind, man !
