Tony Award-Winner John Lloyd Young Plays Final ‘Frankie Valli’ Performance in Broadway’s Jersey Boys This Afternoon

JLYJohn Lloyd Young, who won a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for creating the role of Frankie Valli in Broadway’s Jersey Boys, plays the final performance of his return engagement in that Tony-winning Best Musical TODAY at 3 PM at the August Wilson Theatre.

Young, who also won Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Theatre World awards, began his limited run July 3.

Although JBB was unable to be in NYC “live” for JLY’s amazing engagement, we would love for fans to share updates, photos, and coverage with blog readers of this weekend’s excitement!

We wish John Lloyd Young a big “Break A Leg” today and wish him all the best in his future endeavors!!

  1. Just got back from the last performance of jly in jersey boys. John was exraordinary. He is the best frankie and i am hoping john will play franki
    e valli in the movie.i will miss not being able to see you, for a while in nyc but do hope you will be back soon.
    Thank you john for a wonderful summer of shows. I saw you four times and today which was the best ever.

  2. John’s voice is like teflon and his heart is as big as the whole outdoors. His “last stage door” was sad – when will we see him again? He is like a friend you always want within a stone’s throw.

  3. John is an extraordinary and brilliant performer – I hope he comes back to play Frankie Valli again at some point. And he’s as nice as he is talented (and handsome). I’m going to miss you, John.
