  2. Thank You Susie and Dale, I love to watch this clip!

It’s something you’ll never get tired of :)

I’m sure the “Boys” and “Girls” are thinking about what happened 2 years ago :)

Thanks for the memories, You’re the best! :)

    Have a good day, Jody

  3. Ah, the beginning of my love affair with Jersey Boys. Like Jody, I never get tired of watching that performance. And here we are two years later still going strong with new friends, new casts, new locations. Like that bunny on TV with the battery…..

  4. I wish I had gotten to see this OBC. However I certainly have been able to enjoy it on line over and over again. It is a shame that they cannot give the awards the cast replacements that keep the show going and going. Keep it going all your Jersey Boys cast members. We love you all!

  5. Thanks for the memories!

    JLY…Christian…Daniel…Bobby & the Entire OBC:
You will ALWAYS be my favorite JERSEY BOYS…our Tony Award winning cast for many…many…Four Seasons to come! You’re just too good to be true…we can’t take our thoughts off of you!

  6. Technically, I think that the musical should’ve won all of those awards. I’m glad Christian and John won, though. They are really talented and I hope they make even more great achievements in their careers! Also, the musical itself is the best musical I’ve seen yet, so it deserved the Tony. Congrats, Jersey Boys!

  7. This brought me so much joy then…and the feeling keeps on going and going and going. What a truly talented and compassionate cast who have shared their time with countless charities, formed relationships with fans, and entertained us for hours on end! This network of fans, who share a common love of this show and nurtured by Susie and Dale, has become a community of friends that reaches beyond the theatre walls and the stage door. Good memories! Thanks:)

  8. Oh how I love the OBC! So fortunate to have seen them, and I’ve been been hooked since. The show’s very addicting, so the fans keep going and going and going…

  9. Oh yeah, what memories! Gladys, I agree that consideration should be given to honoring replacement, touring, or even current cast members in long-running shows; after all, the Emmys award the same shows year-after-year. Why not the Tony’s??–perhaps if the show takes a short hiatus, comes back, and it’s called a “revival”??

John Lloyd, Christian, and Michael David all gave powerful and beautiful acceptance speeches two years ago. But what astounds me to this day is how genuine, humble and gracious all three gentlemen are in real life. I have seen both John and Christian look around at the stage door to make sure that all autographs are signed and all pictures are taken.

While I can only speak for myself, there are very talented performers who give wonderful speeches at the Tony’s (last night, for instance), who will barely nod at the stage door, much less pose for a picture.

Indeed, when I need a lift, I check out the Tony clip and still clap (although I’m alone and no one can hear me) when Christian Hoff’s name is announced, to the surprise and delight of the entire audience (after all, Jim Dale was heavily favored for “The Three Penny Opera” in 2006–how soon we forget), still choke up when John Lloyd talks so lovingly of his dad, and still can’t get enough of Julie Andrews belting out “Jeehsey Boyzzz”.

  11. Great memories and nothing but pride and happiness thinking of the nationwide and future worldwide awards that all of our Jersey Boys casts have won throughout these years…..

Also was a nice surprise while watching the Tony’s last night when part of the Tony Award Winning OBC cast appeared on TV outside the August Wilson and reminisced about that evening when they won the ultimate in awards for excellence in theatre…..

Glad to be a Jersey Boys fan!

  13. I was at the Tonys in 2006. We spoke with Bob Gaudio, Frankie Valli, Bobby Spencer, & JLY’s Dad. That was such a great night and we had so much to celebrate! I felt like a celebrity myself being there.
The entire place jumped to their feet when the JB nominee’s names were announced as winners.
Its been a great 3 years being a JB fan, hope there’s more to see of the great original Bway cast!

  14. I could watch this all day. I didn’t realize how much I’ve missed the show and the original cast. This brought back such great memories. How about a cast re-union?
