Four Seasons Old Neighborhood Tour Today!
February 24th, 2008NJ.com’s Julie O’Connor reports on today’s mini-bus tour of about 20 Frankie Valli enthusiasts from New Jersey and other states that will highlight the “original Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons neighborhoods,” located in and around Newark.
The event is the first in a series of city-related tours, inspired by the 2006 Tony Award-winning Broadway show, Jersey Boys, which chronicles the ascent of 1960s rock and roll group “The Four Seasons,” along with Valli, their Newark-born frontman.
Jersey Boys Blog Special Correspondent Audrey Rockman, who organized the tour, said, “it’s really been born out of the incredible response to the Broadway show. We’re adding more and more sites…I’m having trouble squeezing them in.”
Today, the bus will swing by fan attractions that include the site of Valli’s first onstage performance, group musician Bob Gaudio’s former Montclair mansion, various restaurants and locations of the show’s promotional shoots and the Belmont Tavern in Belleville, which cast members visited prior to their Broadway opening to soak up local atmosphere.

Audrey takes care of family. She worked tirelessly to make sure everyone who wanted a ticket to John’s concert last night got one. She planned this wonderful bus tour. Her altruism and dedication to the show, cast and fans are ubiquitous!
JLY’s concert was gorgeous in every respect – his choice of songs, his humor, his heartfelt words to the audience, the beautiful venue, the warmth and love which exuded from the audience.
What a spectacular weekend. John said this was his debut solo performance – can’t wait to go to all the others. Audrey, Gary, Pam, Melissa – thank you for all you did to make the experience spectacular.

what a day! this bus trip will happen many times in the next few years im sure with added sites and guest appearences at yesterdays treasures, and walt gollender “the HIT” of the trip………….

NO I JUST OPENED YESTERDAYS IN APRIL IT WILL BE 1ST ANNIVERSARY IN APRIL.
