Jersey Boys Broadway castmates Kris Coleman, Jared Bradshaw, and Russell Fischer
We’re so excited to report that former JERSEY BOYS Chicago cast member Jared Bradshaw has joined the JB Broadway cast as a swing cast member! On Saturday evening, July 24, Jared made his Broadway debut at the August Wilson Theatre!
JBB asked Jared: What was it like to see your Broadway dreams come true at the August Wilson Theatre last Saturday night?
Jared stated: My Broadway debut was everything I wanted it to be…a great show, with a great cast, and a great audience. The cast, crew and stage management really made it special.
I had been with the show in Chicago for 16 months covering six roles, and I’m adding three new ones here…so now, I really have an even DEEPER appreciation for how this show works. I will say, I’m glad I played Norm Waxman for my debut….a little LESS pressure than one of my new roles, but a great one, which I’d performed as a swing dozens of times.
The best part of the night…(besides strolling down at the top of the show singing “Silhouettes” to entrance applause) was the cast turning and pointing to me and clapping for me, after their bow. They knew how important it was for me, how long it takes, and what it means. That’s what I’ll remember the most. The love. No matter if in Chicago, New York, or on tour in a couple of weeks…there’s a lot of love in this little show we do called Jersey Boys. I’m grateful.
