Jersey Boys Blog–Over 1,000,000 Served

October 31st, 2007

Jersey Boys Blog Tech-Half Update: In all the excitement of the Plan that became the Party, I failed to report that the blog has reached a significant milestone. We have surpassed 1,000,000 pages served. That’s right, since its debut, 1,066,358 pages have been loaded into browsers and read by the greatest show fans on planet Earth. That total includes 1,715 posts and 3,295 comments on the blog, contained within 34 categories as well as 5,008 posts within 188 topics on the forum. Thank you!

How can we spread the word even further and reach more readers? Easy–use the bookmark buttons at the bottom of the posts to recommend the stories to social book marking networks. Simply click on a bookmark button and you will be given a choice of services in which to submit the post. You will have to create an account if you have never used the service before, but it generally only takes an email address to create a free account. Every time I have used StumbleUpon, we have gotten traffic back from that site the same day. The advantage of using online social bookmarking sites is that your favorites are available online and you can search and find other bookmarks recommended by other users.

By using social bookmarking, you will become a smarter person. It’s not as great as selling 100 million records, but its a start. I realize that the nuances of my material are not necessarily appreciated by everyone, so if you have any questions regarding the above post, you can reach me via the blog’s Contact Page.

  1. They ask you what was the high point? THe one millionth page hit? The Jersey boys quiz? Pulling the fantastic fan interviews out of a hat? It was all great. But one fan’s desire to make a page for all us JB fans. That was the best. Thank you for this website and here’s to the continues success of the jersey Boys Blog.

  4. Congratulations, Susie and Dale. What a stunning milestone. Did you ever think it would get this big? It’s so spooky that you waited until Halloween to announce it. Cheers, Charles

  9. I echo everyone’s sentiments. You have been the catalyst for all the wonderful relationships which have developed and for the promotion of the show. Remember, none of this would have happened WITHOUT YOU! Thank you, Susie and Dale! Here’s to the next million! IE

  12. 1,000,000? (well actually 1,066,358.) You ain’t seen nothing yet. Someday, you’ll look back at this momentous milestone and say… “Remember the good old days, honey, when a seven digit number seemed like a lot?” The day is coming pretty fast when you’ll reach 2,000,000 and… JB will gross more than Wicked on Broadway. I can’t wait.
