Jersey Boys Join Jersey Girls at “Ain’t Nothin’ Like a Dame” Benefit
March 7th, 2006Some recent threads on Broadwayworld.com’s message board said that last night’s “Nothin’ Like a Dame” benefit concert was terrific and included an appearance by Jersey Boys Christian Hoff, Daniel Reichard, J. Robert Spencer, and John Lloyd Young.
The Jersey Girls (Heather Ferguson, Jennifer Naimo, Erica Piccinni, and Sara Schmidt) came out in Jersey Boys costumes to do their own rendition of “Walk Like A Man, ” then changed into their ’60s dresses before breaking into “My Boyfriend’s Back.” Then, the Jersey Boys came on near the end to show the girls how it’s done, and performed “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”
