JLY’s Recording on NBC TONIGHT!

Playbill.com reports that NBC-TV broadcasts its annual “Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular” beginning at 9 PM ET TONIGHT!

Although viewers will not see him, the voice of Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young will be heard as the fireworks are exploding in the background. We’ll be hearing JLY’s recording of “What a Wonderful World,” with arrangements by Ron Melrose and orchestrations by Steve Orich.

  4. He did a wonderful rendition of What A Wonderful World. He sounded terrific. What a privledge to have your song as a background to fireworks that is nationally televised.
