More on JB’s Latest Box Office Record-Breaker

BroadwayWorld.com reports that along with setting a new house record at the August Wilson Theatre for the second week in a row, grossing $1,104,169 for the week ending August 13, 2006, Jersey Boys also had the highest seating capacity of any show on Broadway: 100.5%!

  1. The .5 over 100% must be the 8-10 standing rooms at the back of the theater? They were hard to get back in April. I’m guessing they are probably always taken now. – Steve

  2. I was at the show on Friday evening August 11, 2006 and it was great. The audience was fantastic and gave the Jersey Boys great energy to performing the show!!!!

  3. After seeing JB’s twice this summer, I am not surprised their 100.5%!! I already have my tickets for next summer! Sure hope JLY and the rest of the cast stay with the show!
