Newsflash: Best Box Office Week EVER for Jersey Boys!

Summer time in the city is hot at Jersey Boys’ box office! For the week ending August 19, 2007, Jersey Boys grossed $1,233,108 (100.8% attendance rate), marking the 23rd time the show has topped itself since it opened in November, 2005!

Total grosses for the week were $17,865,228 for the 25 shows on the boards for the week ending 8/19/07.

Below are the Top 10 Grosses from BroadwayWorld.com for the week ending August 19, 2007:

  1. Hmm… the 2007 Tony winner is in 10th place and Jersey Boys, the 2006 Tony winner is in third- limited only by the size of their intimate theater. Spring Awakening is selling tickets through December 2007. Jersey Boys… through Summer 2008.

  2. I was there Thursday night (Aug. 16). The theatre was buzzing. Everyone wants to see the show, again and again and again…

  5. Great observaton Audrey! What a great feeling to be a JB fan and know that every time I see the show, I do my part to raise those figures!!! Having seen the show so many times already and having tickets to future performances, “it’s like my mission”!!! Keep it going JB fans!!!!!
