Q&A with Sebastian Arcelus

June 4th, 2010

Sebastian Arcelus in his dressing room.

BBB-Blogger has a fun Q&A with Broadway JERSEY BOYS’ Bob Gaudio, Sebastian Arcelus. Here’s a preview:

Q: What’s the last book you purchased for yourself to read?

A: “Free for All: Joe Papp, the Public, and the Greatest Theater Story Ever Told” written by Kenneth Turan and Joseph Papp. I’m only 100 pages in, but I’m amazed. The NY theater history, the inspiring anecdotes, the reverence shown and the risks taken…it’s really something special.

Q: Name an NYC attraction (shop, café, bar, museum, gallery, park) you would recommend to people who have just moved to the city.

A: Don’t even unpack your bags. Go to Citi Field. Be a METS fan! There are too many Yankee fans in NYC…

But while you’re there…ignore the surroundings…unless of course you need an auto body shop. In which case, you’re in luck. Oh, and don’t mind the name of the town. FLUSHING MEADOWS. It’s ironic and funny.

Then again, so is being a METS fan…trust me, I know.

  1. Hey! Sebastian,

One thing I can say in the Massi household growing up
Yankee & Met fans all the way. If they were winning or losing we all were die hard fans right to the end. At least since the 60′s.
I think they are both doing pretty good, just imagine if they end up playing against each other. Oh!well guess I’ll just have to route for both, and start singing take me out to the ball game. Love to be at that game if it happens with my brothers Bobby & Nicky.

    Love ya!
    Patti

  2. Sebastian,
Santana’s gem gets Mets a Win, I had a good seat for that game. Mets 4-Rockies 0
Looking all around at the team in citi field, with 10 minutes of drizzle,(thank-god I had my slicker) the game continued and how nice it was to be at a game when your team Wins!!!!!Thought of you & my brothers.
I know its crazy, but the Yankee’s will always be my favorite. Mets are up there too!

They played the rockies three times, and as you well know they won 2 out of 3 games that’s not bad….
But it was a good game, but went way to quickly.
It was worth going from L.B.I to New York City for that game.

Cool hearing music of Santana riding on his guitar, while the Mets Santana is up pitching, it just fit.

Now to make a Yankee game before the season ends.

    Ciao,
