Travis Cloer to Sing at the Las Vegas Bowl on ESPN Tomorrow!
December 19th, 2008Travis Cloer, the amazing late-night Jersey Boys Vegas Frankie Valli, is singing “America the Beautiful” tomorrow at the Pioneer Las Vegas Bowl on ESPN at 5:00 PM Pacific Time! The 17th edition of the Pioneer Las Vegas Bowl will pit the University of Arizona Wildcats vs. BYU Cougars at Sam Boyd Stadium.
Hoping to see Travis in LV by the end of the year, I eagerly recorded ESPN’s broadcast for this time slot. Alas, they were covering a basketball game that hadn’t ended by the time the Pioneer Las Vegas Bowl was to begin, so they switched coverage over to LV seconds before the game started, and they therefore did not broadcast the pre-game activities. So no song. (If someone tells me Travis sang at half-time I’m gonna kick myself.)
