Win Jersey Boys Book Autographed by JLY!

September 29th, 2007

John Lloyd Young has set up a little contest to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation–with a terrific prize for the winner!

The JERSEY BOYS coffee table book (written by David Cote) will be released in early October. JLY states that if you send him a check made out to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, postmarked by October 15th, he will send a fresh, personalized, autographed copy of the book to the highest donor. He will also thank all donors (who desire to be listed) right on his blog! In addition, he will also send an autographed copy to whomever makes the 20th donation he receives regardless of the amount of the check.

Please send all contributions to the following new address:
John Lloyd Young
P.O. Box 1718
Radio City Station
New York, NY 10101-1718

Also, please write “JB Book” in the memo on the check, or mention it in your letter so he’ll know you’re trying to win the book.

  3. Irene, You are so right! JLY is WONDERFUL! I feel New York is so lucky to have the best cast of JERSEY BOYS. John does so much charity work, does the best Frankie, has so much charisma and is such a nice decent man. He will be around for a long time, he’s good!

  4. Does his change of address mean he is leaving the show? Say it isn’t so!! But if it does, I wish him the best of luck in his next endeavor. Can’t wait to see what it will be. He is so talented.

  5. John, you are indeed an inspiration for all of us–entertainers or not. I knew nothing about cycstic fibrosis until your Tony acceptance speech. You’ve also refocused our attention on AIDS via BC/EFA as Alison did on breast cancer with her walk several months back (that meant a lot to me, since breast cancer took my mother 40 years ago while still in her 40′s.)

I work for a large corporation and now is the time we pledge and direct our United Way contributions for 2008. While no one is technically obligated, we are always reminded of our United Way goals and of our ability to direct the contributions to the causes of our choice. Almost all charities are listed (including BC/EFA and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation), and one click of the mouse will direct one’s United Way contributions as he/she wishes.

Once again thank you for all you do. If more entertainers were as generous with their time and money as you are, the world would be a lot better place…maybe even “A Wonderful World”! Thank you.
