On May 21, 1966, The Four Seasons had the Hot Shot Debut at No. 63 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart with their single, Opus 17 (Don’t You Worry ‘Bout Me). This was the 27th entry for the group on the Hot 100 and it became their 21st Top 40 hit when it peaked at No. 13 on June 25, 1966. The song was written by Sandy Linzer and Denny Randell, who wrote their previous Top Ten hit, Working My Way Back To You, which peaked at No. 9 nearly three months prior to this debut.

Truly, IMHO, Opus 17 is the most underrated Four Seasons Top 40 hit! Still shocks me that it wasn’t in the Top 5 on the Hot 100 chart! Do you guys agree?
