Critics Adore Jersey Boys in Cleveland!

June 22nd, 2008

Critics all over Northeastern Ohio continue to rave about the national tour production of Jersey Boys that’s playing through July 20 in the State Theatre in Cleveland! Below are the latest fabulous reviews!

Milan Paurich of Vindy.com says that the high energy production of Jersey Boys, currently playing at Cleveland’s Playhouse Square through July 20, is as tight as a Buddy Rich drum solo. Through old-fashioned theatrical magic —and some great writing, direction and acting — they live, breathe and walk like men right before our eyes. And into our hearts forever.

Diana Rossetti of CantonRep.com raves about the Cleveland production of Jersey Boys, including the electrifying performances of the group’s many hits including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “My Eyes Adored You,” and “Dawn (Go Away)” that were interspersed with gut-wrenching glimpses of real life behind-the-scenes, at home and on the road.

Rossetti states, “If you remember the ’60s and ’70s and you don’t see Jersey Boys because you declare Valli’s falsetto gave you the willies, well, shame on you. This powerful, energetic production won’t allow you to blink, let alone wonder why you bought the ticket.”
