Daniel Reichard’s Upcoming “Glory Daze” Concert at Joe’s Pub!
July 10th, 2006BroadwayWorld.com reports that Jersey Boys’ Daniel Reichard will head to Joe’s Pub (425 Lafayette Street) for his concert “Glory Daze” Sunday, August 20th (at 9:30 PM) and Monday, August 21st (at 7 PM).
According to press notes, “Glory Daze” is a humorous and twisted autobiographical concert piece that reflects on a three-month party binge. Stories and songs and photos fill the experience. During the binge, nostalgic rock and roll songs–sung by everyone from Herman’s Hermits to the Monkees to Cat Stevens to the Traveling Wilburys– were playing constantly in an apartment. The concert brings these songs back to life on stage, recalling the joys of reckless abandonment.
Special guests will include Tituss Burgess, Dominic Nolfi, Matthew Scott (all from Jersey Boys), among others.
