LVRJ columnist Norm Clarke reports that Deven May will be ending his run as “Tommy DeVito” in JERSEY BOYS Las Vegas on November 23, 2014.

Deven told Clarke Monday during the Sesquicentennial All-Star Concert at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts that he is involved in a reality show based on a local artist, from the art world not a musical artist. The project will air next year.

He also has invested in a business project that involves an aquatic container.

As reported earlier, fellow JB Vegas cast member Jeff Leibow will be ending his run as “Nick Massi” in the production on the same date as Deven May. Jeff will be working as the full-time director of the NF Hope Foundation, an organization that raises funds and awareness to battle neurofibromatosis, also known as NF. Jeff also told Clarke that he intends to pursue TV and film work.

Although we’ll miss Deven in JERSEY BOYS,, we wish him all the best as he moves on to new adventures!

  1. Sad to see Devin and Jeff leave. They have been such a super part of the JB Vegas cast. I will miss them but will be there the following week and anxious to see the new members. I do wish Jeff and Devin the very best in their future endeavors.

  4. Deven sure brought Tommy to life! He embellished the role with subtle comedic nuances that had me in stitches every time. Super nice guy, too. He’ll succeed in whatever he attempts. Best of luck to both Deven and Jeff.

  5. Deven,
As I posted on Facebook, I saw you only once on stage (in Vegas, last summer) but your performance blew me away! I’ve sincerely enjoyed watching all those YouTube videos, especially your Broadway.com videoblog. Through them (and the play of course!) you’ve given me hours of enjoyment and I thank you for that. Here’s wishing you all the best fortune and both personal and professional satisfaction in the world on the next phase of your life. Salude!
