Erich Bergen Wows! Plush Room Crowd!
March 9th, 2007Buzzin’ Lee Hartgrave of BeyondChron.org reports that Erich Bergen, one of the Jersey Boys was a hit at the Ermet Foundation Awards program in the Plush Room. Originally, there were to be two of the Jersey Lads performing, but Michael Ingersoll had an emergency root canal about an hour before the show. That left Bergen to take over all the entertainment time. And no one was disappointed. Bergen is talent plus. He first sang the Frankie Valli hit “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You†that is also sung in the hit sell-out show Jersey Boys at the Curran Theatre.
Hartgrave also notes that some of the Jersey Boys cast will also entertain at the “One-Night Only Cabaret†at the famed Fugazi Club (Home to Beach Blanket Babylon) on April 16, 7:30 pm. The reporter claims, “Tix are literally flying out the window – so get them soon.”
