Four Seasons’ Greetings!
December 21st, 2010| Happy Holidays from Jersey Boys Blog! Listening to The Four Seasons’ Christmas Album has been part of our Christmas celebration since 1962!
One of my favorites is the especially festive “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” performed in the classic Four Seasons’ sound. Along with Nick Massi’s incredible bass harmonies and the guitar work of Tommy DeVito, it features Frankie Valli’s falsetto and the elusive Frankie growl as well. It peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at #23 in 1962. |
When you listen to te great stereo separation, the instrumentation and the great vocals this is why this is a great album, and the wonderful production from Bob Crewe makes this a classic album.
