Four Seasons Story Receives Four Stars in Grand Rapids!

October 2nd, 2013

Reporter Sue Merrell states that the JERSEY BOYS production currently at DeVos Performance Hall in Grand Rapids “is every bit as smokin’ hot as when it won Best Musical on Broadway…” Here’s a sneak peek of her 4 out of 4 stars review:

The story moves continuously with furniture and set pieces coming and going and lots of colorful backdrops. Musicians, including drummers and a brass section, are part of the constantly changing stage parade, as the hits keep rolling out. The band’s movements to the songs are downright infectious.

To paraphrase one of Frankie Valli’s hit songs, I can’t take my eyes off “Jersey Boys.” It’s just too good to be true.

  1. A record rackjobber from Grand Rapids told me that the obscure and different Four Seasons song “Electric Stories” was a huge Top 10 hit in Grand Rapids, despite only hitting #61 Hot 100. So there are most likely some hard core “Four Seasonsheads” there.
