Frankie Valli in Upcoming Film Role
March 13th, 2007According to the Providence Journal, director-writer Eugene Celico has signed Frankie Valli in a pivotal role in his upcoming film, “Thunder Doyle.”
“Thunder Doyle” stars Vinny Paz as a boxer who has just finished a ten-year stint in prison for murdering his father. The boxer joins a carnival, befriends a dwarf and catches the eye of a fight promoter who gets him back into the professional ring.
Celico is planning to begin shooting the film May 14 on locations in Johnston, Westerly and Burrillville
I live in the Providence area. Seems that there will be a reading on March 18. Public invited for $30 a ticket. Vincent Pastore (Sopranos) is supposed to be there. No announcement that Frankie will attend.
