Frankie Valli Receives Surprise Congressional Honor

Broadway.tv Blog reports that the story of the hit Broadway musical Jersey Boys continues to thrill audiences with its drama, sadness, and brilliant score. Frankie Valli, the subject and source of the great hit musical took the stage at the Mann Center in Philadelphia in a live show, only to be surprised by US Congressman “Broadway” Bob Brady. According to the report by Dan Gross in the Philadelphia Daily News, Brady presented the star with a congressional resolution and a flag that had been flown over the capital in honor of Frankie Valli. The singer raised the flag high, and the crowd went wild.

Congratulations to Frankie on this surprise honor!
