  1. He was(is) too good to be true, then and now! Wish I had been there!

  2. Incredible…..can’t begin to describe what hearing that does to me.

  3. The studio version of “Fallen Angel” also had some great instrumental and vocal hooks. It made Top 10 Adult Contemporary.

As usual, we could also say that it should have been an even bigger hit, especially on the Hot 100.

  4. I’ve never seen this clip before. What a great video of Frankie Valli performing a neglected song (it just barely made the top 40 chart in 1976 as the follow-up record to “Our Day Will Come.”) that was a far bigger hit in England. It’s nice that “Jersey Boys” has reintroduced the song to a new generation of listeners as well as many old-time fans. Thanks for finding this and posting it on the JBB, Susie and Dale.

  6. Stunning and heartfelt; the beauty of Frankie’s voice, the emotion and poignancy behind it, the sadness of Francine’s death, all there in this amazing clip. Thanks Susie and Dale.

  7. A true classic video. Thank you for putting this out there. I cry every time I hear this song. No one does it better!

  8. Was fortunate enough to hear Frankie sing “Fallen Angel” live a number of times in the 70′s at the Seasons concerts. Became one of my favorites to hear Frankie perform live then …

  9. Yes, thank you so much for posting this. Awesome. It’s my favorite song in the show and on the cd. A kleenex moment for sure. Just beautiful.
