Friday Flashback: Frankie Valli’s 1975 Performance on ‘Cher’!
August 5th, 2011If you were already a fan of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons back in 1975, you may remember all of their television appearances! In fact, they were ubiquitous on the tube! I can’t tell you how many times I attempted to tape them on my not so state-of-the-art audio cassette recorder!
Throughout the year, they were guests on Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert, The Midnight Special, The Merv Griffin Show, The Mike Douglas Show, Joey & Dad (a short-lived summer variety series), and this video from Cher’s show. Did I miss any of their TV appearances that year?
I tried recording him also. It was ok but nothing like hearing him in person. I recording his live concert on cassette in Jacksonville, FL back in 1970 or there abouts. I think I still have it somewhere. Frankie will alwayS been No 1 in my heart.
