Friday Flashback: The Four Seasons; Rendition of ‘Walk on By’ (1965)!

March 7th, 2014

After posting the rare album cover of “The 4 Seasons Sing Big Hits of Burt Bacharach/Hal David.Bob Dylan,” we searched Youtube and found this track from the album.

“Walk On By,” composed by Burt Bacharach with lyrics by Hal David, was originally recorded by Dionne Warwick who peaked at #6 with the song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1964.

What do you guys think of the Seasons’ rendition?

  1. Yes, This is the right album. One that will never be forgotten.
How we all will remember “DON’T THINK TWICE” and all the other great! tunes to bring us back to where we were at that time. Sweet

  2. Remembering this “Jersey Girl” Dionne Warwick from South Orange and The 4 Seasons having dinner at her home. Yes! They were friends.

Dionne putting her sound to “Walk on By” she did it well /a good artist with putting so much music out there through the years.

But of course the Season’s rendition of it. Most of us knew it was the boys when they sang by there style :) need I say more?
