Hal Prince Lauds Jersey Boys

Someone who attended the recent New York State Theatre Educators Association conference, held at New York University, told Jersey Boys Blog that the legendary director Hal Prince had high praise for Jersey Boys. In a question-and-answer session after his speech, a teacher asked Prince what he thought of jukebox musicals. In the course of his answer, he said that Jersey Boys was one of the most entertaining musicals he had ever seen, with excellent music and storytelling. He said that all high school actors, and especially students interested in writing for the theater, should be encouraged to see Jersey Boys.
