Happy Belated Birthday to Jeremy Kushnier!

October 1st, 2007

Happy Belated Birthday to Jeremy Kushnier! Jeremy celebrated his birthday on September 30–which was also the final Curran Theatre performance for the SF/Chicago Jersey Boys Company!

Before starring as Tommy DeVito in the SF/Chicago JB Company, Jeremy took Broadway by storm in his first leading role as Ren (the Kevin Bacon role) in Footloose in 1998. He later played Roger in Rent on Broadway. Jeremy was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and received training with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and the Winnipeg School of Performing Arts. In 1990, Kushnier performed in the revue Say It With Music. Five years later, he was cast in the Toronto production of The Who’s Tommy and later toured with the production.
