Happy Birthday Greetings to Bob Gaudio!

November 17th, 2011

On November 17, 1942, Bob Gaudio, “the kid who plays like a madman–and he writes songs”–was born! Scorpio, right? We wish musical genius, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, Songwriters Hall of Fame member, and Grammy Award-winner Bob Gaudio a very Happy 69th Birthday today!!

Something I’ve always wanted to ask Bob Gaudio: On your 20th birthday–November 17, 1962, “Big Girls Don’t Cry” became The Four Seasons’ second consecutive chart-topper! What must it have been like to celebrate your birthday with that kind of music history in the making? The stars must have been in alignment and still are!

Happy Birthday and thank you, Mr. Bob Gaudio, for creating and producing the greatest music that has ROCKED our world for SIX fantastic decades–from “Short Shorts” to “Seasons Greetings: A Jersey Boys Christmas”!! None of this could have happened without YOU!

  5. Happy Birthday Bob! I just discovered we have the same birthday when I finally saw Jersey Boys in Vegas this year. The Four Seasons was my first favorite musical group. Thanks for all the great tunes!
