  2. Happy Birthday, Rick. You’ve given BIRTH to so many moments with your storytelling, whether weaving fascinating tales at the stage door, taking Daniel’s Glory Daze and turning it into a roller coaster of tears and belly laughs or doing that professional thing you do SO well.

Stories give meaning to pain, motives to characters, understanding to history, and meaning to facts. That having been said, you taught us through Jersey Boys, it’s almost impossible to find facts and the best we can hope for is perspective. Thanks for sharing YOUR perspective – it’s always a pleasure.

To quote my favorite writer in the JB program ;-) , my wish for you is that this will always be true: “All I ever wanted was to be right where I am now…”

  4. Happy Birthday, Rick Elice! I echo the previous comments. Thank you for your great body of work! Looking forward to enjoying more. Jersey Boys will always hold a special part in my heart, and I will keep going and going and going as long as it is playing. Thank you for being such a sweet man also. It was a honor to meet you. Do you know much you are loved? Hope you had a great day.

  6. Thanks to everybody who reached out on the great Bob Gaudio’s birthday to remember his (much-younger) friend, born on the same day. You all made it a very special day for me. I’m the embodiment of what they used to call a lucky so-and-so. It’s just that I’m now a bit older. Have a wonderful holiday season, everyone!! Lots of love, Rick
