As we all know, Joseph Leo Bwarie’s final performance as Frankie Valli in JERSEY BOYS Broadway after EIGHT amazing years in three different companies!

All these years of seeing JLB in JB on stage have been awesome and unforgettable! Is it possible that his performance was more phenomenal each time we were in the audience? Well, after our last visit during the JERSEY BOYS 10th anniversary on Broadway–I can say it could happen–it did happen! JLB’s performances that weekend were off the charts!

We wish Joe all the best in his future endeavors & are looking forward to seeing what’s next for him!

We thank Joseph Leo Bwarie for being an awesome and phenomenal Frankie all these years and for sharing his amazing talents with the world on stage and of course, in his spectacular solo recordings!

We would love for Jersey Boys Blog readers to share your Joseph Leo Bwarie memories and well-wishes!

  2. I’ve known Joey since he was about 7 years old. My aunt is married to his uncle so kinda like cousins through marriage. The 1st trip to New York 2 years ago with my “23″ year old daughter we saw Joe on stage performing and then all went to dinner! My daughter at 1st was saying she wasn’t sure she wanted to see Jersey Boys because she didn’t know what it was about and I said are you kidding we know the lead performer that’s what we’re going to see. Well about 15 minutes into the show I looked over at my daughters face and she had the biggest smile that stayed on her face the whole show and after! Then two weeks ago I had the privilege of seeing the show again with my daughter and my mom and now my 17 year old son! We also got a “VIP” to go back stage after the show and meet Joe on the stage, take pictures etc. we were all flying high. Then we had the privilege of taking Joe to a wonderful dinner! Joe is always so gracious! I’m so happy that both my drama geek kids who both perform got to be inspired by such an amazing sweet family friend! Enjoy today with the family Joe!

  6. I have seen and met Joe many times. What a talented, charming and gracious young man. I will never forget his portrayal of Frankie Valli. His voice is so pure and clear. Never having to reach for those high notes. His acting is also superb. So glad I have his CD’s and that I have many photos with him at the various stage doors. It is also great that I was able to be one of his supporters in his charity work. I know that he will be successful in all of his future endeavors, but we “Jersey Boys” fans…will never forget him. “Who Loves You”..Joseph Leo Bwarie…WE ALL DO.

  7. I have seen Jersey Boys several times. Most recently a few weeks ago.

Frankie Valli and His music are my all time favorites. Play the CDs all the time. Have seen Frankie and have met him many times.

However, after seeing Joe in Jersey Boys this last time… We were amazed at his competence in singing Frankie’s songs so well. He was excellent.

We truly wish him much success in his future career. Maybe someday we will have the opportunity to meet him as well.

Thank you Joe for a very enjoyable afternoon at Jersey Boys. Good Luck to you!

    Audrey
