From Playbill.com: Jarrod Spector, who has played the Frankie Valli role longer than any other actor (over 1,400 performances!) returns to the Broadway company of the Tony-winning musical Jersey Boys Oct. 2.
He succeeds Tony winner John Lloyd Young, who played his final performance Sept. 30.
In related news, Drew Gehling assumes the role of Bob Gaudio Oct. 9, the same day Jeremy Kushnier joins the cast as Tommy DeVito. They follow Quinn VanAntwerp and Andy Karl, who play their final performances Oct. 7.
Drew Gehling previously played the role of Bob Gaudio in Jersey Boys companies in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Chicago and Broadway. Jeremy Kushnier has played the role of Tommy DeVito in Chicago, Las Vegas and Toronto. Jarrod Spector has played the role of Frankie Valli on Broadway throughout the last four years, having previously appeared in the show on tour and in Chicago.
The current Broadway cast is led by Matt Bogart (Nick Massi), Quinn VanAntwerp (Bob Gaudio), Andy Karl (Tommy DeVito) and Spector (Frankie Valli) as The Four Seasons; with Peter Gregus and Mark Lotito. The cast also includes Miles Aubrey, Jared Bradshaw, Cara Cooper, Ken Dow, John Edwards, Russell Fischer, Kristofer McNeeley, Katie O’Toole, Joe Payne, Jessica Rush, Dominic Scaglione Jr., Nathan Scherich, Sara Schmidt and Taylor Sternberg.
