JB Appearances and More at BC/EFA Flea Market and Grand Auction TODAY!
September 23rd, 2007Today, the 21st Annual Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Flea Market and Grand Auction will take place from 10am-7pm in Shubert Alley! Jersey Boys’ cast members and the one and only Frankie Valli will be making appearances at the Celebrity Table and loads of memorabilia will be for sale at the JB booth, in addition to items at the Live and Silent Auctions!
- Visit Jersey Boys cast members at the Celebrity Table: Christian Hoff from 12:00PM-12:50 PM and J. Robert Spencer and Daniel Reichard from 1:00PM to 1:50PM!!
- Visit the legendary Frankie Valli at the Celebrity Table from 11:00AM-11:50AM!
- Visit the Jersey Boys booth from 10AM -7PM for signed posters, signed Playbills, signed props, old costume jewelry, and more!
- 12:10pm-1:00pm: Bid on the “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You musical phrase from JERSEY BOYS, handwritten by Bob Gaudio. Signed by Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, & record producer Bob Crewe at the Silent Auction.
- 1:10pm-2:00pm: Bid on a set of four “Rag Dolls” made from old Jersey Boys’ costumes at the Silent Auction.
- Bid on a walk-on role in Jersey Boys in the Act 1 Silhouette Club scene at the Live Auction.
I think Broadway World is running a live video feed on their website if anyone wants to look in throughout the day. To anyone who is going – have a wonderful time and get lots of great JB stuff.

I arrived by 11:30; unfortunately Frankie had already left. (Also- it took a moment to figure out there was a line for photos with celebrities and one for autographs- no photos allowed. All the ‘celebrities’ were out of view.) It was very crowded which means a successful event, I’d say.
Then, out of the blue, there’s that day that’s crystal clear and so cool, you… wish Frankie was still there. Maybe next time.

I had the opportunity to go and I had so much fun. I got to buy some great things from the JB booth. Also, I got to meet the legendary Frankie Valli!
I was so excited when I met him! He was really nice and polite. That day will always be a memory to me.
