Michael Lomenda may be from Alberta, but he’s a vegetarian and environmentalist, so he loves Toronto. These days, he’s taking the subway from his waterfront condo to the Toronto Centre for the Arts in North York, where he plays Nick Massi, one of the original Four Seasons, in JERSEY BOYS. Check out what he told National Post’s Rob Roberts in the “My Toronto” feature:

I heart Queens Quay: It’s funny, on the way up in my elevator tonight, these guys were talking about the neighbourhood and one guy says, “I’m outta here as soon as I can find a new place. Living downtown is totally for chumps.” Couldn’t feel more the opposite. I’m from a very small town in rural Alberta, but I’ve always loved the city. Waking up every morning in my modest condo but still being able to look out over the islands and the lake is perfection to me. My place has got south-facing windows that get the morning sun, so I think I’ve turned the heat on once this whole winter, and in the summer, I just open the patio doors and I never really need the AC.
