Jersey Babys Released TODAY!
April 15th, 2008Rhino Records has released Jersey Babys: The Music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons for Kids TODAY!
Jersey Babys is a delight for kids, as well as adults (it’s now part of my morning drive time music)! Wait till you hear the instrumental versions of 4 Seasons’ masterpieces–from “Sherry” to “December 1963 (Oh, What a Night)†and lots of other musical surprises!
The project is a Gaudio family affair. Bob Gaudio’s daughter Danielle Gaudio-Lalehzar had the inspiration for the album and is the Executive Producer. Bob’s son Shannon Gaudio is the Art Director and designed the whole package. The new recordings are arranged and produced by Bob Gaudio himself and Robby Robinson, who is Frankie Valli’s musical director.
Stay tuned for the upcoming JBB EXCLUSIVE Interview with Danielle Gaudio-Lalehazar, Shannon Gaudio, Bob Gaudio, and Robby Robinson!

This CD also makes for wonderful background music in the office. Robby Robinson is an absolute genius and has been with Frankie Valli for decades. Kudos to Danielle Gaudio for a marvelous effort and great liner notes. Most thrilling for me is that “Cry for Me”, actually made famous in “Jersey Boys” is included.

I love this CD!!! The arrangements are beautiful, and you can really appreciate the orchestrations, since there are no vocals. Not just for babies, it’s soothing, melodic, and relaxing for all ages. Danielle and her brother did a fabulous job. Talent and creativity clearly run throughout the Gaudio family.

I just ordered this CD from Amazon. Robby Robinson has been with Frankie for almost 30 years. I believe he first was on the Heaven Above Me album in 1981 and then on every new album since. I always thought by listening him play the synthesizer he should make a New Age album. From what I heard Jersey Babys is the closest thing to that. But when you are on the same team as Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Bob Crewe, along with Charlie Callelo and Artie Schruck, only great music will happen.
