Jersey Boys 2nd Natl Tour Dazzles Durham!

November 3rd, 2012

Dawn Baumgartner Vaughan of The Herald Sun raves about the JERSEY BOYS second national tour production in Durham! Check out a sneak peek of the review:

If you go for the music, you won’t be disappointed. If you go for the story, you won’t be disappointed. Whoever cast the roles of Frankie Valli (Brad Weinstock), Tommy DeVito (Colby Foytik), Nick Massi (Brandon Andrus) and Bob Gaudio (Jason Kappus) pulled off quite a feat, bringing four men on stage whose stars shine when they sing and act. That’s the goal of any musical, of course, but these four men really take it to another level. Each has inherent charisma, each has a fabulous voice, each speaks his version of the group’s story with verve and humor.

If you didn’t love the real “Jersey Boys” before, you’ll love them now, not just for their music, but because their story is a flawed story, a success story, a great story and an American story. And their songs are just fabulous.
