Jersey Boys’ Binkley & Kennedy Nominated for Design Awards

Talkinbroadway.com has provided a news release announcing the American Theatre Wing’s 2005 Henry Hewes Design Awards Nominees. The committee has nominated 57 theater artists for recognition of their outstanding work in 39 productions presented during the 2005–2006 New York theater season. The awards will be presented at a luncheon to be held in the fall.
Jersey Boys’ Tony Award-winner Howell Binkley has been nominated for Lighting Design, and Steve Canyon Kennedy has been nominated in the Notable Effects category for sound. The “Notable Effects†category encompasses sound, music, video, puppetry and other creative elements.
