Jersey Boys Blog Favorite Features

July 26th, 2007

You know, it’s fun building web sites. We have tried to make JBB more than just a blog by adding an array of different features. Recently, we added a bulletin board and it has exploded, like “Sherry” in ’62. So, that got me thinking–its time for another poll.

This week, we would like to know: What are your favorite features on JBB? Short of cocktail napkins with phone numbers on them, I think we have included something for everybody. Unless you are an avid reader, you may not have even realized how many different features we have included.

Of course, voting is free. You can vote for as many features as you like as often as you like. We are not trying to be scientific; we just like to get votes and see the little bar charts move. So, please take a few seconds to tell us what you like best, and we will try to keep making the blog better.

  1. Wow.. it was just too difficult as I was going down the list, to find anything that I was really willing to leave out. There are certain videos I would put right at the top along with certain exclusive interviews and, of course, FF interviews.

The only thing easy for me to leave out was the bookmarks since I don’t know what they are or how to use them (Irene… are you with me on that one?), but when I got to “Recent Comments”, I thought, OMG- that IS a cornerstone of the Blog for me.

What I come here for, sometimes many times a day, is two main things: the breaking news, a feature of YOUR tremendous research abilities and carefully tuned networking skills- and the recent comments!

All the rest, including all the links which I often use (and added in the poll choices), is the delicious icing on the cake.

  2. I agree with you Audrey. All the features of the blog have been sensational. To think of the creativity and work which has gone into the sustenance of a BLOG relating to one of the most “Explosive” shows in Broadway history, “That is the best.”Susie and Dale. This reader and fan can’t imagine all the “nuances” of the elaborate work you do. And, yes Audrey, I am with you on the bookmarks.

The Bulletin Board has been an instant success and such a personal forum for the fans to communicate with each other. Jersey Boys takes in over $1,000,000 weekly; the cast recording stays at number 2 most weeks, but your work on this Blog and all its FANtastic features, “Priceless.” IE

  4. Big fan of the forum and the recent comments feature — it gets around the tendency (or need) to “bump” on topics on other message boards since that’s impossible on a blog. It’s nice to see new comments to old entries! :)

  5. To Susie and Dale – you guys are doing an absolutely faaaantastic job promoting Jersey Boys! As a new fan of the site (and the show) – I am impressed with how you strive to take it to next level – with the Bulletin Board – and now, a Voice of the Customer survey! Absolutely love it! Thank you for all you do :)

  6. I must join in with everything that has already been said. The first thing I do whenever I get home is to check this blog. It keeps you up to date on all the happenings surrounding the show. I truly love the new addition – The Jersey Boys Forum. That has taken this blog to a new dimension. Thanks for all of the work you both do for all JB fans!

  7. I check JBB several times a day and read nearly everything written – making me a Jersey Boys expert among my astonished friends and family. But, my least favorite segment of this wonderful site is the fantastic fan interview. How are these fans selected? In my opinion, we are all great.

  8. L, You’re right–all JB fans are great! Any fan that would like to be featured in a JBB Fantastic Fan Interview sends us their contact information, then we send the fan questions. We’re always interested in featuring new (and longtime) fans!
