Jersey Boys Breaks House Record at August Wilson AGAIN!

BroadwayWorld.com reports that the Broadway smash hit Jersey Boys, winner of four 2006 Tony Awards including Best Musical, has once again set a new box office record at the August Wilson Theatre. For the week ending Sunday, September 2, the show grossed $1,236,877, marking the 24th time the show has topped itself since it opened in November, 2005!

  1. How awesome would Jersey Boys sales be in The Winter Garden Theatre or any other larger venue? WOW!

  2. I am not surprised!!! How AWESOME it that!! This show is the very best. If the show were at larger venue, I’m sure it would sell out, however, I think it would lose it’s intimacy with the audience. I think the August Wilson house is perfect for this wonderful show.
