Jersey Boys Cast Recording Returns to Top Spot on Chart!
February 14th, 2008It’s been quite the month for the Jersey Boys Original Cast Recording! Earlier this month, the cast recording became a certified gold recording (selling 500,000 copies)! Today, Billboard.com notes that the certified GOLD Grammy-winning recording is back to the Number One position on the Top Cast Album chart after five consecutive weeks in the #2 spot. This marks the 109th consecutive week that the Jersey Boys OBCR has remained on the Top Cast Album chart!
Had the pleasure of enjoying the National Touring Company of “Jersey Boys” in Houston. The music of Frankie Valli and Yhe Four Seasons has never meant so much to me. After seeing all of the trials and tribulations of how much sacrificed for the music, I am grateful to Bob, Frankie, and the rest of the gentlemen for never giving up. Mr. Valli, you will always have a special place in my heart especially when I now listen to “Swearin to God.” Love the music & love Frankie & The Four Seasons.
