Jersey Boys Give Amazing Performance on “Weekend Today”

June 3rd, 2006

The cast of Jersey Boys gave one of their most amazing television performances this morning on “Weekend Today.” As Lester Holt announced that the Boys would be up after a break, they sang “Rag Doll” in the background. Following the break, everyone was treated to “Cry For Me,” with an incredible lead by Daniel Reichard. Then, the place rocked with “Walk Like A Man” and “Who Loves You.”

Hosts Campbell Brown and Lester Holt talked to the Boys about the audience’s reaction to this amazing show, the Tony Award nominations, and the fact that this was the cast’s THIRD appearance on “Today.” Surprisingly, we were treated to two more songs: “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and “Bye, Bye Baby (Baby Goodbye).”

Thanks to Genuine Imitation Life Gazette, you can check out a great video clip of today’s rockin’ performance!
