Jersey Boys Has a BIG Celebrity Following
February 23rd, 2006NYC City Guide Magazine reports that the unstoppable musical Jersey Boys has a big, big celebrity following. Among the A-listers spotted taking in the splendid Four Seasons biography in recent weeks were Nicole Kidman, Kevin Spacey, Pierce Brosnan, Katie Couric, Michelle Pfeiffer, Calvin Klein, Joan Rivers, Larry David, Shirley MacLaine, Harvey Keitel, Helen Hunt, Sherry Lansing, Kate Capshaw, and Steven Spielberg.
Quite a few other celebrities have been spotted at Jersey Boys. On John Lloyd Young’s blog, he notes that Bruce Willis and his daughters Rumer, Scout, Tallullah and friends came backstage after the show to say hello to the cast back on February 10.
Since opening in November, celebrities from all over the world have come to see the smash hit musical! Just check out these big names! At Opening Night, Joe Pesci, Robert DeNiro, Frankie Avalon, Neil Sedaka, Paul Shaffer (who’s seen it twice & is ready to go back again & again), and quite a few cast members from the Sopranos, along with original Four Seasons Tommy DeVito, Bob Gaudio, and Frankie Valli came to celebrate the big show’s debut. Other stars seen at the production have included singing sensations Olivia Newton-John and Donna Summer, record, television, and TV producer Quincy Jones, Oscar winning actor Tom Hanks and his wife actress Rita Wilson, George Lucas, boxing promoter Don King, and CBS Chief Les Moonves and his wife, CBS Morning anchor Julie Chen.
