Jersey Boys New Zealand Smashes Box Office Record for 2nd Week; Celebrates 1,000th Performance in Australasia!

Jersey Boys Logo News from JERSEY BOYS: JERSEY BOYS has smashed the all-time box office record for a second week of sales by taking more than $NZ 1.9 million gross, beating previous records by over $NZ 500,000. This phenomenal demonstration of support by New Zealanders for this internationally acclaimed musical falls at the same time that JERSEY BOYS notches up its 1,000th performance in Australasia on Thursday, April 26.

In more news from Australasia, tickets to the Adelaide engagement of JERSEY BOYS go on Monday, April 30. Performances begin there on October 26 and opening night is October 27.

The 1,000th show of JERSEY BOYS not only marks the great success of the production in New Zealand and Australia, but, of equal importance, recognizes the outstanding contribution of everybody associated with the production worldwide.”

JERSEY BOYS opened in Melbourne in July 2009 and played for 13 months before transferring to Sydney in September 2010. Over 1,000,000 people saw the show in Melbourne and Sydney by the close of run in December 2011. Following the season in Auckland on June 17, JERSEY BOYS will play in Brisbane and Adelaide.
