Jersey Boys OBC Recording Remains at Number One!

Jersey Boys Logo From BroadwayWorld.com: For the week ending 10/10/09, the Grammy-winning JERSEY BOYS Original Broadway Cast Recording tops the Billboard Top Cast Albums chart! This marks the 195th consecutive week that the RIAA Certified Platinum recording has remained on the chart.

  3. I loved this CD and actually started to listen to it before I ever saw the show. Now it is a real joy. Actually I wear them out. Need to get another one.

  4. I have 3 copies of this wonderful CD and listen to ALL of them ALL of the time. I absolutely love it. Having seen the play with the OBC it has a very special meaning to me.

  5. The ironic thing that again recalls L. Russell Brown’s comment to Bob Gaudio, is that Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons never received an award for a Platinum LP or CD, something the Original Broadway Cast has just done. I just wonder if they were to figure out some of the Compilations sold, whether they could still get a Platinum award. Hey, if the Eagles 1971-1975 sold what, 15 million records, isn’t it possible that one of FV4S’s LPs got at least 2 million sales along the line? What do you think, stubbleyou?
