Jersey Boys Recoups Investment
September 13th, 2006Playbill.com reports that Jersey Boys, the 2006 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, recouped its initial investment on Broadway shortly after its big Tony win in June. The megahit musical also took home three other Tonys, including Best Leading Actor in a Musical (John Lloyd Young); Best Featured Actor in a Musical (Christian Hoff); and Best Lighting Design (Howell Binkley).
From blue-collar beginnings to gold-record status, the story of American pop sensations Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons comes to life on Broadway in Jersey Boys. Dodger Theatricals, Joseph J. Grano, Pelican Group, Tamara and Kevin Kinsella, in association with Latitude Link and Rick Steiner/Oshen/Staton/Bell/Mayerson Group produce.
