Jersey Boys Sets New Record in Philly for Sixth Time; Rocks at the Holiday Box Office on Broadway!

News from JERSEY BOYS: The Philadelphia engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning musical JERSEY BOYS broke the box office record at the Forrest Theatre for the sixth time, grossing $1,451,273 for the week ending November 28. This tops the previous record of $1,401,420, which they set the week ending November 21.

On Broadway, JERSEY BOYS rocked during the holiday week, grossing $1,269,247 and had a 97.5% attendance rate for the week ending November 28, 2010. The 39 shows on the boards grossed $26,365,126, climbing just over 19% from the previous week.

  1. Philly was a no brainer – it’s seems known for its ‘Oldies’ consciousness. Not that there’s any city which doesn’t love JB. (Btw, I’ve gotten tired of sending the ‘record-breaking’ links to my niece who had tickets recently.) I hope the show returns and stays a lot longer. Get the value out of all the regional exposure and draw in those who refuse to go into NYC, plus those who enjoy seeing different casts.
